Origin of peace

The nature of peace sleeps in a drowsy valley in the middle of nowhere.
The root of peace lies curled up in soft furrowed soil.
The origin of life hides in between the folds of a young grapevine stock.
The nature of calmness flows with the morning wind, murmuring in the leaves of olives trees.
The origin of joy appears in form of splashes of early daylight.
The feel of peace resonates with lonely footsteps and bird song welcoming one more sunrise.

I close my eyes and listen closer to how peace is being born in the soft ground.
